RRRevolve, a sustainable online store for environmentally conscious products, faced an existential challenge in August 2024: the previous logistics partner unexpectedly filed for bankruptcy and all of the company’s goods were at risk of being seized. Together with MS Direct, the team led by Sebastian Lanz, founder of RRRevolve, managed to implement an emergency solution that not only saved the goods, but also allowed operations to continue almost seamlessly.
Sebastian, what challenges did you face when you joined MS Direct?
“We were literally facing the worst-case scenario. Our previous logistics partner informed us at the end of August that it was going to file for bankruptcy – which meant that all of our goods in 1200 m² of storage space would be sealed off by the authorities shortly afterwards. In a situation like this, it can take weeks or even months to regain access. For us as an online store, that would have been a disaster. It was clear: we had to find a solution within a few days, otherwise our business would have been shut down.”
What were your most important requirements for a partner?
“Time and flexibility were of course the top priorities in this situation. We needed someone who was able to act extremely quickly. We also had to ensure that our processes and systems could be smoothly integrated into the new infrastructure – and all in record time.”

“The MS Direct team set up a provisional fulfillment logistics system including network and IT connection in our 1,000 m² site with 20,000 SKUs in just three days. This was absolutely impressive and record-breaking. Thanks to their fast trading, operations were able to continue almost seamlessly. There was only a two-day interruption in shipping, which our customers hardly noticed.”
What were the next steps you took with MS Direct?
“Since November, we have also been physically integrated at MS Direct. At the end of October, we relocated our entire warehouse to Muttenz in a four-day operation, from where our orders are now processed. We now know that our items are in good hands and have the necessary logistical stability so that we can devote ourselves fully to our business again.”
