With Christian Neumayer, MS Direct has gained a proven logistics expert with many years of experience in setting up and managing complex logistics structures. Most recently, he spent seven and a half years as Vice President Fulfillment & Quality at Zooplus, where he managed the European fulfillment locations. Prior to that, he worked for Amazon for four years in various roles, including being responsible for setting up and operating the first German delivery station as a last-mile carrier.

Organisational development in the management
The new COO appointment is part of an organizational development in which the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) has also been created for the MS Direct Group. This will also be taken over by the previous COO of MS Direct AG, Fabrizio Anner, from May. By separating responsibility for technology and operations, MS Direct is creating the basis for giving both areas the necessary weight.
As Group CTO, Fabrizio Anner will devote his full attention to digitalization, automation and the further expansion of MS Direct’s technological expertise. He will also take on Group-wide tasks in the areas of IT infrastructure, IT service management and cyber security.
“During his time as COO, Fabrizio Anner has made a huge contribution to the further development of our operating locations. Under his leadership, we have successfully implemented several site relocations, built new logistics centers, pushed ahead with automation and significantly increased our productivity,” emphasizes Luca Graf. “We are delighted that, as an experienced tech transformer, he will continue to play a decisive role in shaping the technological roadmap at MS Direct in his new role as Group CTO.”
